Autoclave Machines in Pakistan – Horizontal & Vertical Steam Sterilizers
Autoclave machines for hospitals, OTs, CSSD units, clinics and laboratories. Each one is a steam autoclave that kills germs with pressure and heat. Choose front-loading horizontal models from 16x30 to 16x36 inch, or compact vertical models from 10x10 inch. Most run on gas and electricity, so a power cut does not stop sterilization. All are made in Pakistan, so spare parts are easy to find. Message us on WhatsApp for a live quote.

How do you choose the right autoclave?
- Daily load: a few sets a day suits a 10x10 or 10x20 vertical. Several drums per load needs a 16x30 horizontal.
- Cycles per day: back-to-back cycles need a double or triple chamber with a steam jacket.
- Floor space: vertical units fit a counter or corner. Horizontal units need a stand and room to open the door.
- Fuel: gas + electric models keep running during load-shedding.
- Steel: SS 304 resists rust. Full SS bodies stay clean in humid rooms.
Horizontal vs vertical autoclave: which is better?
| Horizontal autoclave | Vertical autoclave | |
|---|---|---|
| Loading | Front, at waist height | Top, lift in and out |
| Typical size | 16x30 to 16x36 inch (about 99–119 L) | 10x10 to 10x20 inch (about 13–26 L), up to 75 L |
| Suits | Hospitals, OTs, CSSD | Clinics, dental, laboratory use, maternity homes |
| Chamber types | Single, double, triple | Single |
| Floor space | Needs a stand | Fits a counter or corner |
Pick horizontal for volume and easy loading. Pick vertical for small spaces and smaller loads.
Single, double or triple chamber?
A single chamber autoclave has one pressure wall. It costs less and suits moderate daily use. A double chamber adds a steam jacket that stays hot, so cycles run back-to-back and packs dry better. A triple chamber adds an outer casing that holds heat in, for large hospitals and CSSD units.
Autoclave care tips
- Use distilled water to stop scale on the heater.
- Do not overpack. Steam must reach every surface.
- Hold 121 °C for at least 15 minutes. Wrapped loads need longer.
- Put autoclave indicator tape on every pack. It changes colour when the load has seen sterilizing heat.
- Drain and dry the chamber at the end of each day.
- Have a technician check the gauge and safety valve on a fixed schedule.
Frequently asked questions
What is an autoclave used for?
An autoclave sterilizes with steam under pressure. Hospitals, clinics and labs use it to kill bacteria, viruses and spores on surgical instruments, linen, glassware and lab waste. A standard cycle runs at 121 °C, about 15 psi, for at least 15 minutes.
Which autoclave suits a small clinic?
A vertical autoclave suits most small clinics. The 10x10 holds about 13 litres for one drum or tray. The 10x20 holds about 26 litres for taller drums. Both run on gas and electricity and fit a counter or corner. Tell us your daily load and we will suggest a size.
Is this the same as a Class B autoclave?
No. Our local horizontal and vertical models push air out with steam, which suits solid instruments, drums and linen. A Class B autoclave uses a vacuum pump. It pulls air out of hollow and porous loads, such as dental handpieces. Ask us if you need Class B.
Can an autoclave work during load-shedding?
Yes, if it is a gas and electric model. You run it on the electric heater when there is power and switch to gas when the power goes. Most of our autoclaves are dual fuel. Keep the room ventilated when you use gas, and never leave a gas unit unattended.
Do you deliver autoclaves across Pakistan?
Yes. We deliver across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar. Send your city on WhatsApp and we will confirm the delivery time with your quote. We can also advise on installation for large horizontal models before they arrive.
